Check out this great trailer for Death of a Cheerleader, the movie. Taken from the real life story of Bernadette Protti, Death of a Cheerleader puts Angela Delvecchio (Kelly Martin) and Stacy Lockwood (Tori Spelling) in the limelight in this tale of murder, deceit, and popularity gone wrong.

Angela transfers into a new school. Quickly, she makes friends with the most popular girl in her class, Stacy. But, like the cheesy teen drama that it is, that friendship soon turns deadly when Angela realizes she will never be able to match Stacy’s popularity.

The movie revolves around the real life news story involving Bernadette Protti murder of Kirsten Costas back in 1984.

The 1994 film today still remains a huge hit for the TV audience, especially after being rebroadcast this week.
